Fire & Emergency Services | A total burn ban is now in effect. 🚫🔥
A total burn ban is a period of time during which the Fire Chief declares a ban on all open-air burning, including campfires, outdoor fireplaces/burning appliances, brush fires, agriculture fires and cooking fires. Cooking devices, such as barbecues, are still permitted but should be used with extreme precaution and away from any combustible materials.
The total burn ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Events | Belleville's first annual Seedy Saturday is coming up on March 1! 🌱 Learn about urban gardening techniques so you can grow your favourite herbs and vegetables this summer! There will be presentations on container and raised bed gardening and the use of native plants and trees in your landscape, as well as a seed swap table, children’s activities, information on local community gardens, seed and gardening vendors, refreshments and more. Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Festival of Lights | Santa makes his final stop at the Festival of Lights tonight! He will make an appearance from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Stop by, meet Santa and check out all of the holiday lighting displays in the park!
Festival of Lights is located in Jane Forrester Park and is on every night until Jan. 6.
Community | Feed the Meter is on all December long! Parking in the downtown core is free but all proceeds put in the meters goes to the Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation's Food for Learning program, so be sure to feed the meter! This program provides access to food to over 6,000 local students every single school day.
