@WaldronLewis@EmiratesSupport@saisrikar216 Oh man, sorry to hear that — that really sucks…Do you mind me asking how much the fee was? Was it the regular fee based on the original booking terms?
@WaldronLewis@EmiratesSupport@saisrikar216 So your trip was scheduled for after March 10th but you still filled out the form?
Had you contacted support beforehand?
I’m in a similar situation — my flight would be on March 19th, and I’d like to cancel it as well… 😔
@gewinner007@EmiratesSupport Same issue here, communication unfortunately isn‘t clear. In other posts the Statement was cancellations for flights after March 5 will be processed based on the initial ticket fare - which would mean no refund for Economy Saver tickets. @EmiratesSupport
@EmiratesSupport Why not simply allow everyone to cancel their flights and receive a full refund—regardless of the travel date. My flight is scheduled for March 19 via Dubai, and I really don’t want to fly into an active war zone, from which passengers are currently being evacuated. 😔

@EmiratesSupport My flight is at March 19. Can I already request for refund? The Information provided is not quite clear about that (March 5 vs March 20). Thanks!
