Today MPs have the chance to vote for #NC11 to the Public Order Bill which will introduce 150m buffer zones around abortion clinics. No woman or health professional should have to face harassment and intimidation when accessing or providing abortion care. (1/3)

1. being asked to do TTOs for three patients who were new over the weekend, that haven't been medically reviewed, before 9am by the nurse manager
2. matron arriving and declaring that "6 need to be discharged from every hospital ward today"

We are absolutely appalled to learn that the Royal Society of Medicine - @RoySocMed - has refused to allow the word abortion in conference signs today because of “sensitivity.”

Also, what other words are on your ban list? “Controversial” topics tend to be disproportionately associated with marginalised groups. This is beyond concerning from an establishment that is supposed to be demonstrating and upholding a gold standard of behaviour within medicine
