1) small talk (weather, etc)
2) swapping (you tell a story, I tell a story)
3) listening (you tell a story, I listen/validate)

To those not understanding let me break it down. He 1. Tries to manipulate her into not driving herself or leaving when she said she needed space. Confining driving is a common abuser tactic 2. Holding love conditionally, saying “I don’t love you” again abuse tactic

6. I missed one at the beginning - he used psychological terms saying he created a boundary. He twisted the word to fit his control. A boundary limits another person from your person. That does not mean you get to limit the other person from activities like driving. Nope.
