Mr. Thomas Andrews, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Cambodia, stated that He listened to the accounts of #Cambodian civilians who have been unable to return to their homes because the Thai military destroyed their villages.
At Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport on July 29, a group of Chinese fans followed a Chinese celebrity toward their boarding gate. After being escorted out by security, they later rejoined the crowd and, when the artist entered the jet bridge, rushed to get near him without presenting their own boarding passes.
Airport staff then denied boarding to 22 passengers for violating safety and security procedures.
The airport later apologized for the security staff’s handling of the situation, acknowledging their actions fell short of service and regulatory standards.
Some security staff were alleged to have made insulting gestures to the Chinese fans.
