Financial facts about the upcoming movie “The Odyssey” This movie will probably not be a financial success and it’s not because of people’s perceived wokeness of the film. With it’s budget, marketing costs and cuts for the theaters showing it, it needs to bring in around $750 million to be considered profitable. Theaters around my house aren’t sold out for this movie. And yes, you may be able to show be lots of sold out theaters in other places, but for a movie to be making that kind of money to pay back that cost, you need the Utah theaters to also be sold out.

I don’t think boomers quite understand the severity of the illegal and legal immigration we are facing as a nation. They are of a time when Hispanic illegals who came here worked really hard, and that’s true, some of the hardest workers out there. But that was their parents, not their kids. And they don’t even have a clue how visas are being abused. We have a short window to reign it in and I’m afraid with our incompetent government willing to sell us out to the highest bidder, the middle class is screwed.
