When people ask me to recommend a book that will help them "grow closer" to God - my first response is always "the Bible". I'm not trying to be vague or cliché. I fear we are increasingly replacing the source of truth with the flood of available resources about truth.

I believe in the power of the gospel - I'm compelled to share it in meaningful ways in right moments. I must take care to put my passions in proper order. Active Christian before active citizen. I must see the heartbreak here on earth as a chance to invite people to lasting hope.
