Trading is getting better. I’m finding my edge, but preserving capital is still the hard part. I get close to a payout, start watching the P&L instead of trading my setup, and give back. Frustrating,but I’m staying disciplined following my mentor, getting close.

I broke my rules. After a strong day, I started chasing a bigger payout instead of letting the next setup come to me. My mentor warned novice traders about CPI/PPI. I ignored it and paid the price. Large payouts are not required. They are a bonus.

Today I let psychology take over and turned a manageable loss into a larger one. After getting stopped out, I chased instead of sitting on my hands and protecting the progress I’ve built. I logged it, owned it, and hopefully learned from it.

Textbook mentorship short Friday morning.

Price ran liquidity above prior highs, reversed from premium, and displaced lower through structure. I entered near 28,670, targeting ST liquidity first, with the NDOG as the larger objective.

Followed the plan.

Watching NQ today felt like I had the 2016 mentorship playing in my ear.

Price ran Friday’s high, reversed through the range, swept Friday’s low, then began retracing back toward the range. Recognizing it in real time felt like progress.
