Governor Desantis. One thing I have never understood is out of state tuition when you are former resident of a state. I was born and raised in Florida as was my wife. Lived there for 40 years and then moved to Tennessee. If my kids wanted to go to a state school in Florida, we would have to pay out of state tuition (unless we could get the grandparent waiver). Yet someone that has lived there a year can get instate. I have to believe over my adult life of working in Florida I paid more taxes than most living there a year. Shouldn’t a family in my situation get relief from out of state or am I missing something?

@_willcompton and @TaylorLewan77 I live in Franklin. Two oldest boys @VanMaxmjvl and @Coach_JVL6 played at Northern. Max’s Dline coach in high school was Karl Klug who I know played with Taylor.
