Well between this and @Sflecce’s bribe money I can almost afford a couple weeks of groceries. Also wondering how this benefits those who can’t/don’t drive. #onpoli
Now more than ever, Ontarians need a little extra help. That’s why we’re extending the gas tax cut for another year — so you can keep more of your money. Extending the tax cut will save the average Ontario household an extra $195 per year.
@Sflecce They do have rights. As do the children of the staff making a pitiful wage, having to work multiple jobs to keep food on the table. As do the children requiring EAs and extra support. You can freshen up on all the rights with this book. It’s for kids so it’s easy to understand.
We were selected as part of the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation's annual Adopt a School fundraiser! Every $ raised between Sept 12 - Oct 2/22 will go DIRECTLY to our school to help fill our shelves with new and diverse books! https://t.co/GFWc37TJPB

Dear @Sflecce:
I wish you could understand how unsettling, nerve-wracking, *insert uneasy synonym here* it is to approach a new school year as a parent of a special needs child. But you won’t. You may have read a handful of briefings or listened to colleagues tell you
But first. Overwhelm the healthcare system by ending mask mandates (in hospitals?!). Then force a teachers strike to delay the start of school.
I’d hazard a guess that we know what’s in those mandate letters. 🙄 #CovidIsNotOver#onted#onpoli#theonlyplan
Ontario Conservatives polling on “more choice” in education and healthcare.
Which translates to them exploring chartered schools and paying for faster services in healthcare.” (Moving to the front to the line for cash).

Honestly. Civilians are dying in Ukraine. Children are starving in Yemen. And the people protesting in downtown #Ottawa still have the guts to demand “freedom”? In a country with health care, public education, social services and a democratically elected government?
As a parent 👏🏻👏🏻 It is nearly impossible to enforce masking from home when children see their peers and teachers maskless. Thank you for realizing that while many kids shrug off a covid infection those that welcome them home may not be so lucky. #ottnews#onpoli#FireLecce
Tonight, the Board of Trustees passed a motion requiring mask use in all OCDSB buildings. Staff are developing an implementation plan and will provide additional clarification shortly.
Reminder: if @fordnation's carefully hidden mandate letters are released before the election, and details trickle out day-by-day, he's toast, and he knows it.
RT if you really, really want to see those letters! #OntEd#onpoli#ontario
