Delhi: On Rising threat of Vapes and related Nicotine Products, BJP MP Swati Maliwal says, "WHO reported that in US nearly 1 in every 10 students are now e-cigarette users. India banned e-cigarettes in 2019 under the PECA Act, a very strong and decisive step by our government. However, these vaping devices are still available in the grey market, even in Delhi as well as across the country, especially in the metropolitan cities. And the age of first experimentation is dropping. Children as young as 12 are being introduced to these devices. The health impacts of vaping are extremely serious..."
