If you don't think Talarico is nuts, forget the mental health institution story and just watch this ad. If you still think he's normal, we have a different definition of normal.
James Talarico is suddenly running a TV ad saying "I called out Joe Biden for failing us on the border." Texans should ask one simple question. When? Even Fox News asked his campaign, and they couldn't point to a time he criticized Biden on the border while Biden was actually in office.
Here's what we do know. In a 2019 interview with the Austin Chronicle, Talarico said he'd rather take Texas' roughly $800 million border security budget "and put it back into public education," and he called that border spending "just political grandstanding."
Now, three weeks before the election, he wants Texans to see him as a border hawk who puts Texas before party. I don't buy it. This looks like damage control from a progressive trying to sound moderate in a state that knows better. Texans lived through those border years, and we remember who stood up and who didn't.

Houston Public Media flagged a Texas Southern University poll: I'm at 44%, Rosenthal at 42%, within the margin of error, with 11% still undecided. Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 19. This race decides who regulates Texas oil and gas. Make a plan and vote.
James Talarico skipped out on the Hispanic business leaders, canceled on the Central Texas African American Civic Engagement Symposium, and tried to pass off old content as new.
He doesn’t get to reappear like nothing happened after ghosting the 31 million Texans he wants to represent for two weeks.
The “flu” didn’t stop him from meeting with New York billionaires and Hollywood elites, or from partying with celebrities at a music festival most working Texans don’t have the luxury of attending, especially after taking two weeks off work. Must be nice after two weeks of PTO.
Your phone was tracking you and calling it a feature. Ken Paxton made them write a check.
Google had to pay Texas $1.375 billion for tracking your location, your incognito searches, and your face.
Meta paid this state $1.4 billion for grabbing biometric data without asking.
One state. Billions. That's an attorney general who works for Texans, not Silicon Valley.
Send him to the Senate.
I serve in the Texas House with James Talarico.
Talarico is the most radically extreme liberal to ever run statewide in Texas.
He's more liberal than Bernie Sanders...
Weirder than Tim Walz...
And more radical than Jasmine Crockett!!
TALARICO MUST BE DEFEATED!!

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Florida after a 19-year-old whose speeding Mustang K*LLED two elderly people last year...
...was caught doing 120 to 130 MPH, running stop signs, and turning off his headlights to escape cops...
...ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.
AND HE IS STILL WALKING FREE.
His name is Denis Maldonado-Reyes, he's 19 years old, in Apopka, Florida.
Back in November, troopers say he was driving 90 miles per hour in a 45 zone. Double the limit.
His Ford Mustang plowed into the side of a LYNX transit van as it turned.
Two people inside that van were k*lled.
Jerry Earl, 81 years old.
Aida Maldonado, 94 years old.
He tried to blame the VAN.
Nearly a YEAR later, that fatal case still hasn't been resolved.
He pleaded not guilty and he's been walking free the entire time.
And what did he do with that freedom?
Late last month, a deputy saw his Mustang blow through a four-way stop. Pass a car over a double yellow line. Then TURN OFF HIS HEADLIGHTS in the dark to try to disappear.
The chase hit 130mph.
And he was doing it all on a SUSPENDED LICENSE.
Suspended because he never paid a ticket for illegally blowing past a stopped SCHOOL BUS.
WHY IS HE WALKING FREE?????????
WE. DO. NOT. HAVE. TO. LIVE. LIKE. THIS.
REPORT - TEXAS HOUSE DEMOCRAT CHECKED “NO FELONY CONVICTION” DESPITE FEDERAL GUILTY PLEA AND 63-MONTH PRISON SENTENCE 🛑
Ericka Lomick, the Democratic candidate for Texas House District 93, has a documented federal criminal history tied to a mortgage-fraud case. Federal court records identify her as Ericka L. Flood, also known as Ericka Lomick, and show that she pleaded guilty in a case involving mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud and money-laundering conspiracy. She was ultimately sentenced to concurrent federal prison terms, including a 63-month sentence.
Now fast-forward to August 20, 2026. Lomick submitted her application to appear on the ballot for Texas House District 93.
Lomick is running against Republican Alan Blaylock for the open Texas House District 93 seat. There are actually two elections happening there on November 3 - the regular general election and a special election to fill the remainder of former Rep. Nate Schatzline’s term after he resigned from the House in July. Gov. Greg Abbott formally ordered that special election after Schatzline’s resignation created the vacancy.
Under the section labeled “Felony Conviction Status,” Ericka checked the box stating, “I have not been finally convicted of a felony.”
The Texas Secretary of State says a candidate must indicate either that they have not been finally convicted of a felony or, if they have, that they were pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities. A person who has been convicted is supposed to provide proof of that pardon or release. The same state guidance says knowingly providing false information on a candidate application about final felony-conviction status is a Class B misdemeanor.
Texas law specifically requires this disclosure and specifically warns candidates that knowingly giving false information about their felony-conviction status is a Class B misdemeanor.
I have obtained 144 pages of her federal record, and it’s not good. The material surrounding this case includes the guilty plea, sentencing information and later litigation involving the conviction.
And there is more: A separate background report I obtained shows a $300,000 federal lien under the name Ericka Flood recorded in Tarrant County on January 31, 2024. The report ties that lien to federal case identifier DNCW3:10CR124 - the same federal criminal matter associated with her mortgage-fraud prosecution.
The report also turns up additional North Carolina criminal and traffic records under the names Ericka Flood and Ericka Lomick. One involves a 2002 simple worthless-check misdemeanor charge that was filed in 2003. That case was ultimately dismissed without leave by the district attorney.
Another possible match from 1996 also involves a simple worthless-check misdemeanor and likewise shows a dismissal.
There are additional North Carolina case entries from later years, but several do not identify the underlying offense, so I am continuing to pull the original records before saying more about those.
And then there are her business records. The report identifies Lomick as both the managing member and registered agent of Pro-Etiq Solutions LLC, a Texas company whose status is listed as “Forfeited Existence.” The company was filed in December 2024, with the report showing that forfeited status verified in June 2026.
The same report links her, under the name Ericka Flood, to two North Carolina companies - The Kashmir Group LLC and The Lenzi Group LLC - both of which are listed as having undergone administrative dissolution.
So between the federal felony case, a guilty plea, a 63-month federal prison sentence, a $300,000 federal lien recorded in Tarrant County in 2024, additional historical court records, and a Texas business listed as having forfeited its existence… I think Ericka owes Texans some answers.
James Talarico wants to outlaw the oil and gas industry, which would send the price of everything skyrocketing and destroy countless jobs in Texas.
I need everyone to help me stop him. Go to https://t.co/cq3Qd9H9tX today.
🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: Mass amounts of Americans are calling for the courts to be PURGED as San Francisco leftist Judge Linda Colfax released a criminal who FATALLY assaulted an 84YO — because she was worried prison would have a "poor impact" on him
BETRAYAL.
Texas doesn’t need another polished suit who checks the wind before opening his mouth.
I’m backing Ken Paxton because I’d rather have a political barbed-wire fence than another revolving door.
He irritates the right people. He survives the attacks. He keeps swinging.
Washington already has enough men who want to be invited to the dinner party.
Texas needs somebody willing to flip the damn table.

These people are incompatible with the American way of life.
Watch this and tell me these people aren’t totally depraved.
The Islamic takeover of America continues.
Look at Michigan, Minnesota, Massachusetts, California, and New York. Texas does NOT need to follow their blueprint.
We fight for strong families, safe kids, American values, faith, freedom, and parents who want their children to inherit something worth defending.
Texas doesn’t need to become California with cowboy boots.
Protect what makes this state different. Protect our families. Protect our freedom.
Keep Texas strong. Keep Texas proud. Keep Texas TEXAS.
Vote for Ken Paxton.
