The last two GFS runs have hinted at a possible ‘SSW’ Sudden Stratospheric Warming in early January, it’s a long way out but if it did occur it would likely throw a spanner in the works for the future of this winter
A long trek for our U16s today across to the QE Barnet U16 7s but a very good first showing of the season with 2 wins and 2 defeats on the day - a nail biting 21-20 loss to @TonbridgeSport in the plate 1/4s ending a great day.
Popular caretaker, Mr Kevyn Barnikel, had a fantastic presentation this afternoon to mark his retirement.
Mr Barnikel was presented with a @MonSchBoys 1st XI cricket cap and a certificate from @HaberdashersCo, while the boys handed him a cricket bat that they had signed. #legend
@GeoBlogs We were due to go on an exped to Rwanda this summer with school and read these and watched the amazon prime episode which is fantastic and not a dry eye in the house by the end! Exped will have to wait until another time.....
