I think you've made a good point; there's definitely more 'branch pride' in EN and ID!
When I started, EN was so small that it felt like a unit (like Gamers), so it's emotional for me.

I dislike the merge, because I like that EN is strange and different. But I also understand the benefits, like collabs between members being common, and negativity can be too much 😮‍💨

@m_taka1026 Because of this, a lot of what people love about EN/ID is how it differs from Hololive JP. I think there's fear that by combining EN/ID into simply 'Hololive', some of that culture and community driven support that makes it unique and wonderful is being deemphasized. (2/3)

When JP support has lacked, Hololive English and Hololive Indonesia create their own traditions and subcultures, and they have their own histories.

I see some benefits, but stripping them of that identity only makes me sad.
