Today we celebrate St. Fintan of Clonenagh where he had his foundation. He died in 603. He lived an austere life and encouraged others to do likewise, although on encouragement he eased the austerity demands on his fellow monks, a great saint for #ShroveTuesday! @KANDLEi @theway_ie
