It is Friday of #MontessoriEducationWeek!! Our featured Montessori learning material is the Movable Alphabet.

This material contains individual wooden letters that are blue for vowels and red for consonants. Children can focus on sounding out individual letters and making words!

Happy Thursday of #montessorieducationweek! We are excited to share with you Phonetic Objects!

We carefully choose objects that are spelled phonetically ("cat," "fan," "gum,") and create labels for them. Children practice blending the sounds to read words.

We are highlighting all week our favorite Montessori materials. The Golden Beads are used to learn the decimal system by exchanging ten beads for one 10 bar, ten 10 bars for one 100 square, etc.
