My horse has just finished 3rd at Cheltenham!
Probably the best day of my life.
To be placed at the Cheltenham Festival... it's an indescribable feeling!
Thank you @O_J_murphy91, @Sean_Bowen_, @MprUpdates, Mrs Brown, the dedicated groom... and most of all to Ikarak!
The New Lion - the 5/2 favourite for the Champion Hurdle.
Dan Skelton says he would have “gladly” taken on Constitution Hill, although that won’t be happening now.
Maestro Conti - a horse unbeaten on his sole three starts, including a Grade 2 last time out.
Dan Skelton describes him as “one of my best chances going into Cheltenham.”
Striking chestnut.
It was a brilliant night at Southwell Racecourse yesterday.
Thousands gathered to see Constitution Hill - I’ve never seen anything like it at my local racecourse.
The winners’ enclosure was 15 deep - people here to see an incredible horse.
@Malcolm_Tom Fantastic call for an historic occasion tonight Malcom, glad you got a ‘blasting home’ in there!
Where does this rank in the most memorable races you’ve called?
@DailyMirror@santanderuk When Barclays closed their Mansfield branch I moved to you.
Now you are closing your Mansfield branch?
I urge you to reconsider.
If not, I’ll have no hesitation in closing my account and moving to @HalifaxBank
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George, Banstead Manor Stud's resident stallion yard cat.
George appeared shortly before Frankel's arrival in 2012 and had been a much-loved presence on the stallion yard ever since. Known to many as 'Frankel's cat', but affectionately referred to by team as 'Head of Security', George was always on hand to supervise Frankel tours, stallion visits and photoshoots, firmly believing that everyone was really there to see him.
George will be missed by all of his fans and friends, but particularly by the team on the stallion yard 🐾
