Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University is internationally renowned for our teaching expertise, our research, and our outstanding facilities.
Monash HPR is thrilled to announce the successful launch of Project Wyvern! 🚀
Project Wyvern our 2024 AURC entrant, reached a recorded height of 4937 ft, it only just undershot our simulated height of 5021 ft—an impressive 1.7% apogee error!
Additionally, we would also like to congratulate @aresunimelb on a successful Florence test flight - an outstanding achievement!
Thank you to @vicrocketry for organising another amazing launch at Serpentine, and to everyone who came to support our team members!
🚀 Launch Day Recap 🚀
October 13th was an exciting day for our team, with several independent rocket projects being prepared for flight. The dedication and expertise of our members were on full display, and we commend everyone who successfully launched their rockets on the day!
The Young Australian Space Leader Award is a scholarship for the Youth of Australia to attend the International Astronautical Congress: this year in Milan, Italy in October 2024. Congratulations #JamesGray for winning this award.
