Nobody is stopping for perfect anymore. Theyโre stopping for REAL!
Go back and watch your last few posts and ask yourself one question...does this actually feel like ME?
Because if it doesnโt, your audience already knows.
Hereโs what 15 billion views actually taught me.
The content that travels the furthest is never the most produced or the most educational. Itโs the most recognizable.
The one that makes someone stop mid-scroll and immediately think of a person they need to send it to. That moment of recognition is your REAL reach strategy.
Not the algorithm. Not the posting time. Just content specific enough that people see themselves in it.
Start there.
I think what people see on the outside and call "never fighting" is really just two people who decided a long time ago that the relationship was worth protecting. Not because everything is perfect. But because we both actually want to be here.
That's not a secret. It's a choice we keep making. Every single day. ๐ค
But do we disagree? Yes.
Do we get on each other's nerves sometimes? Absolutely.
Do we have conversations that require patience from both sides? More than I'll admit.
The difference is we never let it go further than it needs to. We say what needs to be said. We work through it. And then we move forward, TOGETHER.
The personal brands growing the fastest right now don't have the best lighting or the most edited content.
They have the clearest sense of who they are and they show up that way without apology.
Authenticity stopped being a buzzword and became the actual competitive advantage.
Iโm a digital marketing agency CEO...trust me when I say the most authentic version of you is the most powerful version of you online.
Part 5: LinkedIn Edition
The people quietly winning on LinkedIn aren't posting the most...
they OWN ONE TOPIC so well that the platform does the work for them.
Keep that in mind. ๐
The upgrade is never just the upgrade. It's permission. Permission to already be the version of yourself you're working toward. Not someday. Now.
What's the upgrade you keep saying no to?
Last month, one of my clients gained 8K followers from Trial Reels by posting like it was his full-time job and these are the hooks that blew up:
1. Stop scrolling for just a second
2. I just realized something
3. Nobody talks about this
4. This might surprise you
5. You might disagree
6. Here's the hard truth
7. You need to hear this
Save this before you post your next content. ๐ค
Your content is telling you exactly what went wrong. You just have to read the clues. ๐
If a reel underperforms, donโt just stare at the view count and blame the algorithm.
Go into View Insights and look at your retention.
That graph shows you where people started losing interest, and thatโs often more useful than the number of views itself.
Try this:
๐ Pull up your last 5 reels.
๐ Compare the retention graphs side by side.
๐ Look for the same point where viewers consistently drop off.
๐ Make one change based on that pattern and test it with a trial reel.
Donโt overreact to one underperforming post.
If the same pattern keeps showing up across multiple reels, youโve found something worth fixing.
Your insights arenโt just reporting what happened, theyโre showing you what to change next.
Follow for Part 2!!
Your hook does 90% of the work, and most people treat it like an afterthought.
Great content with a weak hook still gets skipped. The algorithm doesn't care how good your point is if nobody stays past 2 seconds.
๐ Save this for your next script.
Nobody told me that building a business on social media would also mean collecting some of the most interesting humans I've ever met.
That part has been the best surprise of all of it. ๐ค
Your story is not a liability. It's the only positioning nobody else can copy.
And the slow seasons? They're not punishment. They're just the part where the foundation gets built. Every single time.
I'm still learning. Still testing. Still wrong about things. But I'm also still here. Which at this point I've decided is the whole strategy.
Three years ago I was sending cold pitches to anyone who would read them. ๐
Not because I wasn't good at what I did. Because nobody knew I existed yet. And that gap between being good and being known is the one nobody prepares you for.
I stopped trying to sound like the industry and started sounding like me. And the right clients started finding me because of it. Not despite it.
What I wish someone told me earlier.
Not every client is your client. The ones who drain you will cost you more than they pay you. Get selective early.
The most unrealistic expectation we put on ourselves is thinking that years of ingrained habits, mindsets, and decisions should dissolve in a few weeks of effort.
Growth doesn't work that way.
Neither does healing.
Neither does building.
Be patient with the process and honest about how long it actually takes.
The progress is real even when it's invisible.
