16U boys move into the semifinals of the Berean TipOff tournament, defeating Pathway Christian 55-22. Robert Allen led all scorers with 17.

High school girls finish 3-3 in pool play, splitting with St. Louis Panthers 25-22, 22-25; dropping two to Wichita Warriors 22-25, 22-25; and beating the Lincoln Cougars 25-11, 25-14. We await our bracket assignments for tomorrow.

Volleyball teams went 6-5 at the first of the HSWIL Fridays. JV went 2-1 (first two wins of the year!), varsity and JH went 2-2.

The 16U fell to #1 seeded Marion Hawks 49-32. Fred Jefferson led with 14, Ced Jefferson and Josh O'Neal each had 8 and JD Bialek had 2. O'Neal added 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Next up is the Indy Wildcats tomorrow at 3:40pm EST
