I've decided it's time for me to take a step back from Money Flamingo and to “semi-retire” the blog.
This post covers my reasons and a little update on our overall plan.

Lean FI, Fat FI, Barista FI, Slow FI, Coast FI (and, of course, Flamingo FI) - many alternative “types” of Financial Independence have sprung up over the last decade. In the latest article on the blog, we discuss what they all mean.

Money Flamingo turns 5 today!
Exactly 5 years ago, on 8 May 2018, I hit "publish" for the first time, and the blog went live with the first article on Flamingo FI!
It has been an interesting ride, with many lessons learned along the way.
Thanks for being part of our journey!
I know it's already the end of April, but I finally got around to publishing our latest semi-retirement update for Q1:

In the latest article on the blog, I invite you to do a little thought experiment with me.
It reveals what most people get wrong on the path to FI, and it will also tell you a lot about your own journey to Financial Independence.
