@Iamsamirarora But is it enough? Or do we still need more time correction (since large price correction is not happening)? Aren't we still at too premium a valuation? What are the chances that we have another year like this before we can pick up steam again?
@BeingPolitical1 Using the old pic to call her current lifestyle hypocritical?

@contrarianEPS Thabkfully, other than nifty 50 index investors, almost all investors have made better returns than this. Category average returns:
Large cap: 15%
Mid cap: 27%
Small cap: 26%
Flexicap: 19%
Balanced / dynamic: 13%
Even Nifty 50 has produced 13% if one invested via SIP / STP.
@iRadhikaGupta This typically happens not because of any conscious strategy but because of chasing top performers wrt point to point returns which inevitably leads to disappointment later.

Would I myself invest in this instrument / advise my senior citizen parents to? If yes, consider it for clients, otherwise not. Rules out unnecessary risks due to greed for returns/commissions.
@ActusDei@apri_sharma@jashkriplani Comparing apples and oranges. The value provided by the theatre experience is not just display of content. Big screen, awesome sound, 3D, 4Dx, F & B, family / friends outing, are all part of the experience not provided by OTT. Both provide different kinds of value.
@pvsubramanyam Yes, but planning about what happens one's assets after death involves more than just making a will. There are many factors that will decide whether the transmission of assets will be easy, peaceful, inexpensive and without disputes.
Professional advice can be invaluable.
@QuirkyLogic They had to give some date. Otherwise nobody would take it seriously. Open to extensions as required - like Aadhar-PAN linking :)
They had done this with old Rs. 500 notes a many years ago.
It may seem like a nightmare when you approach your 50s and see that you don't have enough money to maintain the lifestyle and standards of living you and your dependents are accustomed to. The good news is that you can still make amends. It may take more work, but it's never too late.

@ActusDei Would be interesting to know what % of people in each age bracket invest in mutual funds. No. of folios can be higher because of accumulation of new schemes over the years. Doesn't necessarily mean more people investing from that age bracket.
