BREAKING | Haryana Police have announced they will begin detaining farming leaders under the draconian NSA. The NSA allows the govt to arrest individuals, even if they have not committed any crime, and hold them for a year without charges.
This authoritarian measure has been used often to arbitrarily arrest Sikh activists in the past, including most recently Amritpal Singh and other Sikh political prisoners being held at Dibrugarh jail in Assam.
Haryana Police also issued a notice that they will begin to freeze bank accounts and confiscate property belonging to farming leaders currently being blocked and attacked by Haryana Police at multiple borders between Punjab and Haryana.
