We built Handyskillz because finding a good person to get a job done shouldn’t be this difficult. In Nigeria, there are thousands of talented artisans, technicians, professionals and service providers who can do great work. The problem is often finding them, knowing who to trust, communicating clearly, agreeing on the job, and managing everything that comes after. That’s what we’re trying to solve with Handyskillz. We’re building a platform where customers and businesses can discover skilled professionals around them, connect with them, post jobs, manage service requests and get work done - all in one place. We’re still early. There are a lot of things to improve, a lot of things we’re learning, and definitely a lot of things that can go wrong when you're building from the ground up. But we believe there’s a real opportunity here. The goal is simple: make it easier for people with skills to find opportunities, and easier for people who need those skills to find the right person.
