If you're given a shirt at a playoff game, you wear it.
If you're given a towel at a playoff game, you wave it.
if you're given a wrist band that lights up, you put it on.
It's not difficult. Contribute to the atmosphere.
@AkronJackson With as many openings as there currently are (could be more), what’s the timeframe of hiring? I feel like someone like Harbaugh or your top candidate, you don’t let leave the building. Does the amount of openings make you expedite the process so you get “your guy”? #AskinJackson
Mixed emotions on Stefanski's final day with the Browns. He helped modernize and stabilize a team that was the laughing stock of the league. He made them competitive on the field with Pittsburgh and Baltimore - something that was previously a foreign concept. He got the most out of an immature, undersized Baker.
But he was unable to to seize control of a locker room that had too many egos and too many bad character guys. He couldn't motivate or hold players/assistants accountable. He couldn't figure out a way to access Watson's gifts or rebuild his confidence.
And after that he was doomed with horrific QB options and too many bad drafts, with a GM that couldn't overcome the Watson swing despite an limitless bank account. Culminating in this year's 4-QB farce that no other team would ever sign off on.
Thanks for 2020 and 2023. The best memories a lot of us have had with the Browns (sadly)
(Yes I know it’s empty)
BUT
It’s unreal what a city can do on game days when they have a mayor that put things in place to support a city and not just knee jerk react and shut it down.
Kudos to you Cincy. 👏🏼
@KenCarman Ahh good call. I was just thinking the NFL would love nothing more to take advantage of his stardom and still put a bad team on a later time slot
#Browns Chief Strategy Officer Paul DePodesta is leaving the Browns to become head of baseball operations for the Colorado Rockies, a league source confirms.
