Sarah given a sim card with access to free data, which opened a window of opportunity to be able to contact anyone anywhere.
Sarah was also helped to apply for a lower rate bus pass so that she could attend a maths course at Leicester College. Sarah said:

Sarah was going through a tough time. She was struggling with digital; literacy and maths skills and it was affecting her daily life. She couldn't even help her daughter with her homework and felt like a failure as a parent.

But then she met Anju, her advisor from Leicester College. Anju listened to Sarah's concerns and helped her to create a plan to improve her skills. They worked together to improve her CV, and Anju showed Sarah how to use top job sites to search for employment.

Cooking can help young kids learn and practice some basic math concepts and build language skills. Preparing meals with children can help build their self-confidence, help with emotional well-being and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits.
