@HunterBiden@MalcolmNance@JoeyMannarino Good for you Hunter! We all have demons and you faced yours like a man. I hope you get an opportunity to kick his ass.
@SarahAnnRhoades Then you can’t listen to most popular music, television shows, movies, the NBA & NFL. Have fun playing Lee Greenwood and watching pickle ball.
@BAGF_E@2cents2cents@dpainclain That denies reality. I lived in Cincinnati as a child. And when my father paid state taxes they went to Ohio NOT Kentucky. And if you mail a letter to anyone on Cincy you’re mailing it to an Ohio zip code. Why is this even an argument?
@CLEOBULUS@JPWinstonTX@the_jefferymead And you commented on an issue you know nothing about. I live in Mitchellville MD, a majority black, middle class neighborhood which is upscale. No one is angry with whites. We just acknowledge our hurdles and still thrive.

@CLEOBULUS@JPWinstonTX@the_jefferymead Being discriminated against is not exceptional. But being cognizant of an existing reality helps you overcome it. Every black person’s lived experience teaches you that. I’d wager you know nothing about it and any advice you’d offer comes from ignorance and I’d suspect disdain.
@CLEOBULUS@JPWinstonTX@the_jefferymead No, I do cancer research and my wife is an executive at a tech company. Our daughter just graduated from college and we are living an upper middle class lifestyle. Quite the opposite of penury. Sorry to disabuse you of your stereotypes.
@CLEOBULUS@JPWinstonTX@the_jefferymead In the 60s, my dad was the 1st black executive ever at his company. During every step of his climb up the corporate ladder, he had white colleagues try to sabotage his career or actively get him fired. He was successful but it’s important to know the obstacles blacks endure.
@JPWinstonTX@the_jefferymead Obviously black people can be successful through hard work and dedication. No one denies that. But we deal with discrimination at a level no other group has to. Acknowledging racism isn’t expressing a victim mentality.

@MarkZinno@stephenasmith The issue is the false outrage that many people are expressing. I’m 61 and I’ve participated in and viewed more athletic contests than I can count since the late 60s. And most participants don’t adhere to the custom. This seems self righteously performative.
