“There is an observeable gap in our current culture between what we know is good and what we are good at. In that gap is the world’s suffering...
How can I better mind my own gap?”

@lexfridman check out your website submissions - “Theory Can Only Take You So Far” has a fair balanced solution to universal health care and education that focuses on tier 1 or proactive supports. Chapter 2.
Empathy is getting harder on people who give it as less people are because those people have to take on more and more feelings. I also believe empathy can’t be compartmentalized - you can’t just feel people you agree with and hate those that you don’t, that’s not true empathy.
You don’t need to be a therapist to feel empathy for the people around you and be supportive. That’s just being a good friend and a decent person. Basic human requirement.
@Ecksdude@Rickster_75 Agreed. Like I said it’s not about wrong/right. It’s about finding a amicable solution. Haven’t heard him share solutions. Easy to point to problems, hard to solve them.
I think his influence is pointing out problems - I don’t think he can win, so I appreciate what he’s doing.
