@duolingo I paid 2000 gems to preserve my diamond league but it still stayed at obsidian. Sent an email to service on Sunday right after it happened requesting a gem refund and have not gotten response at all! How long does it take to get a response?

A grammar error I’ve been seeing a lot lately: apart vs a part. Apart = separate from. A part = included in. They mean the exact opposite thing! Be apart from the problem, not a part of the problem!

I hate that I pretty much only use Twitter to complain to Duolingo anymore. I do enjoy using Duolingo to learn Japanese, but some of the recent changes and broken promises is rubbing me the wrong way, especially since they so recently became publicly traded. Not a good look.

@duolingo I bought into the legendary skills on the promise they wouldn’t crack. Saying that you’re “trying new ways of encouraging learning” & removing the verbiage is tone-deaf. We want legendary to prevent those skills from cracking, not for you to stop saying they won’t crack

@duolingo The feedback that I’ve been seeing all over your forums is that most people hate that legendary skills crack, and are disappointed in the double cross. Here’s my feedback: I believe that it is actually DIScouraging effective learning. It is in me.

@duolingo The promise that legendary skills wouldn’t crack was attractive because it meant I could stop focusing on skills I’d been practicing in a loop, and encourage me to work on skills that I need to. Now that legendary skills crack, it’s back to cracking those same 10 skills

@duolingo Please stop making big changes to the app with nothing but “we fixed some bugs” in the update notes. I am livid that the newest update made timed “mastered” lessons a priority. I HATE timed lessons & it hinders my motivation to learn. Please take them out next update!
