@DLCampanile @DeseretBro The state passed a voucher program for home schoolers giving ~8000$ per student. Public schools get ~4K per student. My point overall is just that both options are viable, and neither should be slandered by the other because they chose something different. Let’s support all kids

@DeseretBro All this to say, there are so many nuances to issues like this that it is hard to just say a black and white. To tie into your point though, public school has become a political arena, where laws are passed to try and prove a point instead of help kids. That’s been harmful.

Last night, we had 11 non-members committed to attending our sacrament meeting this morning. I thought there was no chance all 11 would show, and I was right. But 10 did! Of whom 8 joined us for Sunday school. Seven said they will be back next week. One is ready for baptism!

5/6 family members died yesterday in a flash flood.

Father was a firefighter and mother had raised 5 children.

Their oldest daughter just graduated with her BSN and is the only surviving family member.

Their oldest son had just returned from a mission in December.

Twin teenage boys.
