So long story short, lightning struck something at work and in the mean time we waited for the part to arrive someone had to stay at work and watch what was struck for liability reasons.
My wife just had also found a lump on her breast this same week, so we had made the appropriate appointments and lined up another medical appointment on top of that. ( Because I don’t play when it comes to my wife, she is my world.)
Needless to say I expected a hefty medical bill or three and didn’t know how far it would set me back.
It turns out all that overtime from me watching the thing that was struck by lightning for work paid every single bill that flew my way almost penny for penny. And on top of all of that my wife doesn’t have cancer and is perfectly fine.
I can’t ever express how good God is to me. No matter what he has always taken care of me and I know I don’t deserve any of it. I’m a crappy Christian, I don’t always show the grace I should. I don’t pray as much as I should either. But this is the best gift I could have ever asked for.
Jesus Christ is God, he is king.

I think I’m going to build my sister a greenhouse. I already got plans laid out and I think she will love it. Going to be better than anything off Amazon I hope.
I hate rapture predictions because it makes God sound like a tyrannical riddler who leaves clues for only 5 people & it makes Christianity look like a divination cult. It rejects the Bible & hurts the faith to boost a wannabe prophet’s ego so heretics can feed it to the desperate
