Yesterday evening, after clearing customs & driving onto shuttle I put my head on the dashboard & sobbed. We’d finally made it.
My Ukrainian family is now with us en route to Cornwall. Whilst the adrenaline is still coursing - a few thoughts .

Refugees spent 11 hrs on visa applications - whilst dodging air strikes - this joy awaits. A vet couldn’t understand it. @pritipatel @BorisJohnson @luhc @Keir_Starmer @Ed_Miliband we no longer care about humanity so makes sense that we are no longer a nation of animal lovers.
