The results are IN! Blackbirds would like to become experts on the goldcrest. First, we discovered it grows to 9cm... so we had to check out what that looks like. Next, we looked closely at images of a goldcrest's egg and recreated it in a manner of our choosing. #MonktonRecep

Blackbirds have been inspired by the artwork of Australian Bronwyn Bancroft this week. Each of their kookaburras is wonderfully unique.

Boomerangs! We discovered how they were made, why they were made, how they fly. Then… we made our own.
Testing them on a windy day produced great results and LOTS of laughter.
