Today, Reception children used a step ladder to safely achieve the height they wanted to build. Learning to manage risks when building at height! @EAS_EarlyYears

We discussed the best place to put the hedgehog box, and explored habitats where animals might hibernate for winter. Back in class, we created cozy homes for the animals, inspiring lots of enclosure play! @EAS_EarlyYears

Exploring winter colours and transformation schemas in the outdoor art and sensory areas! Children mixed, layered, and transformed materials like glue, paint, rice, and oobleck—deeply engaged for over an hour! Fascinating to observe this high level of engagement! @EAS_EarlyYears
