Republic v Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi & 2 Ors (Samreboi Illegal Mining Case)

Cross-examination of Wontumi’s 4th Defence Witness, Hon Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, just ended.

Under cross examination, the Former Western Regional Minister admitted that he had no personal knowledge of what transpired between Wontumi (A1) and Henry Okum (PW2) when he (A1) was assigning the Samreboi concession to PW2, which assignment is the subject matter of the charges before the Court.

The accused persons have filed Witness Statement for a 5th Defence Witness, Mr Evans Addae, whom they will be calling on Wednesday, June 3.
