@LPG1704@Britpopmemories I've got a few albums with the original price stickers on and they seem to average £7.99 mid eighties, CDs were about twice that at the time I think.
@lee0969@jillwebb2005@nikidoog I really love it as an album - I'm a big fan of the live record but it's got to be Dead Souls for me as it's a wonderful piece of music.
@Brighterdayvnl I had one recently when a lady phoned to say she wanted to sell her son's rock collection. She said "as a test, how much will you pay for Black Sabbath?". When I asked more questions she got pissy and told me she'd go elsewhere if I "couldn't give her a straight answer"...
@pluralvinylpod Both God Machine albums. I wish somebody like @numerogroup would put together a box set of everything. Mine are pretty worn out and desperately need replacing.
I have stated digging through a bag full of ephemera that belonged to Freddie ('& the dreamers') Garrity - things like these handwritten sketches for songs written on the back of a 'Norfolk's Premier Night-Spot' flyer. Fascinating stuff indeed. I Fancy chicken in a basket now...
@Matt_Pinner Tap water, I'm happy with that as our water bills are far too much - despite living in a country where it seemingly pisses down all the time.
@cultofwedgeuk @PsychedelicTony I did the same 2 years ago and it made me realise that we spend our whole lives accumulating stuff and then you die & it becomes someone else's problem. My kids don't want thousands of records, let alone all the rest of it. Not that it has stopped me bloody buying more though...
