Too often, when there are problems, couples wait way too long to seek some help. Oftentimes, counselors don't see the couple until things have been off the tracks for a long time. There's nothing wrong with seeking counseling. The right counselor can make all the difference!
It's the sum of little things that keeps a marriage strong.....For example:
I used the blower to clean some dirt and leaves off the driveway....My wife came home, noticed what I did, and said it looked nice. I smiled inside.
I'm just guessing, but I bet this quote describes the basic cause for most marital problems:
“Men marry women with the hope they will never change. Women marry men with the hope they will change. Invariably they are both disappointed.”
—Albert Einstein
I've thought a lot about this over the years of my marriage....I'm pretty sure that wives can and do have more influence on their husband's souls than visa versa....What do you think?
