The 17-year-old racer, who competes under an Italian licence, will make his FRECA debut on the challenging Dutch track, where he gained crucial experience in Formula 4.

Monolite Racing will line up for the seventh round of the @FRegionalAlpine with the experienced Frenchman Hadrien David, who will replace Kirill Smal alongside Enzo Scionti and Giovanni Maschio

Monolite Racing is deeply saddened by the passing of Dutch driver Dilano Van’t Hoff, who lost his life today in a crash in FRECA Race 2 at Spa-Francorchamps.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to Dilano’s family and the whole MP Motorsport team.

The expectations were positive for Monolite ahead of the R1. However, things went differently. Smal, who was 13th on the grid and in the fight for the top10, had to come back to the pits with a damaged wing. Scionti also had to retire while Maschio put up a solid recovery to P24.

The Monolite team had a good Q2 at Spa. #Smal secured P6 in his group, potentially good enough for a row six start. He will have to serve a carryover penalty from Hungaroring which will drop him back to P13 instead of P12. Maschio and Scionti ended up farther away in P30 and P33.

The Q1 for #FRECA at Spa, setting the grid for R2 to be held on Saturday morning, saw Monolite secure the best result of 2023. #Smal claimed P8 in Group A and that will allow him to take off from the eighth row. #Scionti (Group A), was 15th, while Maschio was 16th in Group B.

P2 Rookie at the end of a very tough weekend

After a promising start we weren’t able to achieve what we deserved in the races, but we still take some positives with us

Looking forward to an intense summer with three rounds in four weeks time

Monolite secured two top-20 finishes in the second round of the Regional by Alpine with Smal. In the first race, Smal finished 17°, before finishing in P19 in the second race. Scionti crossed the finish line in P23 but retire in race 2. Maschio secured a positive 25th in race 1

Another strong day in Monza, with Kirill Smal P5 and P7 in the two session scheduled!

Solid job by Enzo and Giovanni, who like it already happened in Barcelona managed to end the event with a great progression. The US-based driver resulted in P22 in the final session, followed by Giovanni in P24

Another brilliant performance by the whole team today!

Kirill managed to put himself at the top of the standings in both sessions, setting the 4th and 2nd fastest time overall, leading the rookie class all day. His best lap time of the two test days was in 1’58”254

While this last two drivers kept collecting crucial mileage prior to the start of the season, Kirill proved all his and Monolite Racing potential by achieving a brilliant P7 overall in the second session of the day

Giovanni and Enzo complete the first pre-season testing of @FRegionalAlpine season 2023

The Italian resulted in P25 in the final session, showing a promising progression, while Enzo was P29 both in the morning and in the afternoon
