@jonathan_wilke Well GUIs are better for humans because we’re so visual, but for CLI agents who are much better at text, CLIs and APIs are much easier/more efficient for them.
@rxhit05 idk, i still think it's useful for understanding what ur trying to make/do. I'm trying to make other things like music w/ strudel but bc idk any of the concepts or keywords for making music, I'm sorta stuck relying on the ai for everything.. which doesn't get me very far
@RoyInProgress noooo, I mean I need to prompt it every few hours and feel horrible if I miss a day, wake up w/ my laptop to check it in the morning, & I get irritable when my weekly tokens are all out.. but I can stop whenever I want, I just choose not to
@mark_k yeah, it's weird. I even use it to do research now. It's just so much easier to get the results/files on my machine when i need to review them + I don't have to upload all the context for everything, which is a pain, I just tell it where to look. codex kinda killed chatgpt lol.
@kylegawley lol kinda reminds me of that ikea effect where if u build it, you keep it longer + love it more. like you're more proud of the purchase when u make it than if u just buy it.. just wish that exp was cheaper 🤣
@zuess05 almost certainly but I think we're managers of code now, not the coders themselves anymore.. and managers "fix" 3 am bugs the same way, ask so-and-so to investigate & fix all bugs
