7 days ago, I had a Cardiac catheterization where 4 stints were installed in my heart while a 29 year old conduit was expanded to fit an artificial valve in that same conduit; today I was fishing.

Modern medicine is truly mind blowing and I am so grateful and beyond blessed

Not like gorey operating room videos, but ultrasound videos of inside the heart and the equipment they were moving into it. I just can’t believe people are able to figure this out and then people learn how to do it. Truly amazing shit.

One of my incredible doctors just came in here and asked me if I wanted to see what they did in the surgery. Of course I said yes, she then pulled up pictures and then a VIDEO of what they did and I wish I could describe how fucking incredible this is. I am so damn lucky.

Hey guys, so I made it. Awake a lot faster than I thought. Feeling great too. Still at the hospital for observation but I just wanted to update and thank you all again.

Surgery is confirmed for tomorrow at 6 am. I appreciate all the support and wishes from everyone over the last year and ask those continue for me and my family throughout tomorrow.
