The fact Madueke and Saka played for the team that won the league suggests just how absolutely rubbish modern day football is
Both absolutely bang average😂
🚨🎙Phil Foden breaks his silence after being left out of England's 2026 World Cup squad by Thomas Tuchel
A journalist asked Foden about his reaction to the omission alongside Cole Palmer, how it made him feel, and what message he had for the selected players.
🗣 Foden's response: "That decision isn't easy the way most people see it, you know? Like you said, me, Palmer, and other players being left out... I don't want to say I'm angry, but I would have loved to be there to try and help my team. But it is what it is. If Cole Palmer — one of Chelsea's best players over the past three years — isn't called up, then I don't have any reason to be angry about my own situation."
"To all my teammates representing England at this World Cup, I wish them the absolute best of luck. I believe they can make the country proud and bring the trophy home. That's all I've got to say on it. Thanks."
🌕✨ Lamine Yamal: “I thought I was going to win it that day in 2025 because of many things that happened. Looking back, I think it was very good for me that Dembélé won it”.
“Beyond helping me grow personally, I don’t think it was the right time for me to win it because I was still a kid and probably wouldn’t have appreciated what it really means to win a Ballon d’Or. Let’s see if this year is mine!”.
Love the fact my players are talking their shit. All of them. Even the most quiet among them not keep quiet again because they mocked, insult and disrespect them all in the name of banter. It felt like it was never banter at some point.
Some people we argue football with on here don’t know anything but they’ll tell you they know all. It’s during a free transfer that a player gets a lot from the next club he moves to because he owes no one his legs. When a player is under contract at a club the club owns his body, legs etc and it’s only the wages, maybe match winning bonus or other incentives that he’s entitled to but not the money the club makes from his sales. Some cases players get a little bit because of loyalty bonus etc.
Zadok Yohanna was emotional as he signed his contract with Brighton.
Just a year ago, he was playing football in Nigeria. Today, he’s joining a Premier League club.
An incredible journey, a testament to hard work, perseverance, and belief. Dreams really do come true.
Messi of all player? Someone that eat you raw on two occasion that it affected Sir Alex Ferguson on that night and CR7 flew to Spain cause he couldn’t handle the bullying of Evra 😝
Let everyone of my players start talking their sh!t… they can’t be mocked and called names only for them to do it on the big stage and people gone quiet.
William Saliba: “The first season I arrived, we were playing incredible football. That was the season where I said we deserved the title. We finished second - as usual, people made fun of us.”
“The second season too, we were playing good football, finished second. People made fun of us, ‘Bottle, bottle’. Last season too, we were playing well, even if we weren’t playing as well as the first two seasons, we still finished second.”
“This season, even if I don’t agree with everything they say, as if there was only one team that was playing. Well, we’re playing football, except it’s true that sometimes we score a lot more from set-pieces.”
“Now, in the Premier League, you see everyone does long throws, focuses on corners, it’s NOT just us. We just do it better than the others, so we’re going to continue like this.” 🏆🇫🇷 [@lequipe]
