Don't underestimate how very hard the Federal Government is working right now - working on how Morrison can flip flop on RATs
(Niki Savva could win a commentary Walkley for this one sentence)
The extreme scarcity and escalating prices of rapid tests is total market failure - designed to fail from the very start. If Morrison won't intervene even during a pandemic, what is the point of being the government?
The $38 billion of JobKeeper money given to businesses that didn’t need it could be have bought 3.8 billion RATs. But we don’t understand economics like Scott does.
Children and young people from far and wide are calling on governments to recognize their right to a healthy world. ✊

@11Raych @SuttersFC Why would the government do affordable housing when they can make millionaires out of property speculators to buy their 5th or 6th property AND renovate them - all on the public purse?
@barriecassidy Thanks @barriecassidy , we need more people like you highlighting Morrison's lack of leadership. As the rest of the world moves on climate change, we need a PM that wants to lead and reshape Australia. Not a man-baby, fossil fuel addicted childhood actor like Scott.

@barriecassidy Call an election Scott. I’ll vote on Christmas Day if I have to. This is not Murdoch’s Trump outpost.
Then bring on a Federal retrospective ICAC.
@barriecassidy It's worse. As PM, he made a belated half-hearted comment that he didn't "support" or "condone" the threats of violence. He should have "unequivocally condemned" threats of violence against elected officials. Typical Morrison: too little, too late. #auspol#MelbourneProtests
@SDHamiltonVIC@barriecassidy For his short term political gain he throws the entire moral fabric of our nation’s psyche under the bus - that he can find wriggle room and a loose edict around the threats to life of politicians and their families is wicked and really disconcerting. We are better than this.
In contrast to past global downturns, Australia is now emerging with deep debt but very little tangible to show for it. Construction spending in 2020 was below 2019 and 2018 and also less than in the critical years of the GFC, 2009 to 2012 https://t.co/euTm9ujDmp @IndependentAus
@abcnews Good point, but an even better one is the fact we have thousands of refugees/migrants who are doctors, engineers, etc etc whose qualifications are not recognised here and drive Ubers. What a waste! Look into that @abcnews
