Found out that dog bowl etc belongs to camper who is returning in July. All well!

Its our wedding next weekend (after 26 years together)so the camp site is closed for three nights from 23 June - open again on Sunday 26.

White walls and dusk to dawn light - lots of different moths - large emerald, swallowtail, peach blossom, ermine - pretty as butterflies!

Sheep not Shaun are now Shaun so to speak. They struggle to recognise each other without their coats on so lots of biffing heads today!

Shearing tomorrow - Tom can't believe I have chosen the hottest day of the year but the sheep will be chuffed to lose their woolly coats....

Very blustery day - there should be a scale of what the wind does to chickens..Today is a blown sideways all feathers fluffed sort of day!

hectic lambing day. I decided that it was lunchtime only to be told that it was actually 5 pm and the whole day had gone by.

I also read that they can read emotion in human faces so I smile or scowl to see if they react. The jury is out on that one...

I read that sheep are short-sighted and can recognise human faces which explains why the ewes peer at me when I go to see them.

New facilities now have a floor - well the only way is up now and the walls go in on Monday!

We are open for camping from Friday. New wash rooms still a few weeks away but it is lovely and dry here.
