@hexedgardens Thats your blood purity! The more blood spilt the higher it is! When you finish a level you give up the blood in exchange for power upgrades and they scale based on the blood purity, healing consumes blood which reduces the purity

Why are so many 2D roguelikes structured like bullet hells or vampire survivors?? Long-ranged enemies are great, and so are fodder enemies! But I've had my fix.

Ichorous is more about direct encounters with a main threat and a few supporting creatures!
