The Bigfoot legend began in 1958, with a letter to the Humboldt Times about northern California loggers who'd discovered mysterious footprints as large as 24 inches long & 8 inches wide. Some footprint casts contain claw marks, suggesting they came from bears. #WyrdWednesday
