@wholehogsports Putting RW3 over Knile Davis is a microcosm of Arkansas sports media. Biased, lazy, and lacking anything analytical. Knile had better stats and more recognition all while playing for nationally relevant team
@Titleist445@KyleEvans123@CityLittleRock Maybe other priorities, but weird to shut down a park in the middle of the city without real future plans or funding. My guess is St Vincent and/or Baptist own the land in less than 3 years. @FrankScottJr
@RileyHawkins44 That’s a little severe. I would say Arkansas has had 3 very real chances to reach the National Championship in the last 25 years. Maybe college football has passed them by but somewhat recent history says they have a chance.
@sullivangolf Love the tee box in the pines. You’re dead right on the hills. The cost just to move the dirt/reshape for mixed-use area will be more costly than retrofitting a 9 hole. My guess is St Vincent will own that piece of property in less than 5 years.
@FrankScottJr Anxious to see if Mayor Scott has a vendetta against golf or budget deficits. Two well maintained courses are better than four mediocre ones. Hopefully Little Rock will reinvest in the sport.
@Titleist445 @RogerScottBUZZ Municipal courses are more public amenity than money maker. LR is due for a golf market correction but we’d lose municipal golf if we closed every course operating in the red.
