@MarketUrbanism We should be able to vote for all of the city council members in our borough. The council member in my district ran unopposed and that was the case in many districts. The low turnout shows people have lost confidence in the system.

@JRRnotTolkien @sagaftra It actually means they will most likely throw in the towel on the 2023-2024 tv season. We are in the 11th hour. There is a lot to loose if a deal isn’t reached for so many people who depend on film and television to provide for their families.

@garyJackson Well yeah if they can’t start up productions in the next week or two then the coming weeks are Thanksgiving and then Christmas in December. It’s not a secret that show’s don’t film over the holidays. This is probably not a threat but just a realistic assessment of the situation.
