All that stands between us & access to a source of clean drinking water is Cal Am's signature. They are holding our water hostage to get more rate payer money. Contact the CPUC by going to https://t.co/VToFCyfDRs and click on Add Public Comment to insist that Cal Am signs now!
On November 17, the Coastal Commission conditionally approved Cal Am's permit to build their desal plant. But with 20 stringent conditions to get their permit, construction won't begin for some time to come. So what's next? Sign up for updates. Link in bio.
Cal Am still has to meet 20 stringent conditions before they can build. We will soon expand Pure Water Monterey to bring a safe, affordable, and environmentally friendly water supply to the Monterey Peninsula that can meet our needs for the next 30 years. Our mission continues.
