I served with Al, he got me suspended from Poole but I still maintained respect for him as you do with all your brothers in arms and to the level and degree we worked with each other to. You don’t stop respecting someone if they do something you disagree with, that’s the ultimate level of personal traitor-ship, despite whatever differences you may have had with someone. He’s still a solid guy and needs to be scrutinised just as any other politician just don’t let that get in the way of how distinguished this man is. JB
