The carnival will honor tonight’s wristbands tomorrow night. They must be adhered to your wrist or you must have them to present.

Public Works will make one pass through the Village on Monday (7/22) for an emergency brush pick-up. On Sunday, place branches or limbs curbside. Crews will begin collection at 7A and pass through each neighborhood once.

Mosquito abatement will occur overnight tonight. The Village's mosquito control program provides truck spray and helicopter applications (as needed) targeting both mosquito larvae and adults.

The NWS is forecasting potentially severe storms moving into our area this evening between 7P and 1P. The Montgomery Police Department and area agencies are reminding residents to be prepared for nighttime severe weather, as winds in excess of 75mph and tornados are possible.

The National Weather Center has notified Kane and Kendall Counties that our region is under a tornado watch until 9:00P this evening. A tornado watch indicates the conditions are favorable for tornadic storms to develop, but this is not a warning.

In observance of Presidents Day, the Village Administrative Offices, including Village Hall, Public Works, and the Police, will close on Mon., Feb. 19, 2024.

However, the on-call public works crew and Police Officers will continue to work to ensure the safety of our community.

For those of you who received one of the many citations Tuesday for not moving cars off the street after 2" of snow, you get another chance. More snow is coming on Friday. Remove vehicles so the plows can fully clear the street before the extreme cold hits this weekend.

Our area should see more than 2" of snow, and we need YOUR help clearing our streets for safety and access. Residents should move cars off the road and set garbage cans behind the curb line to efficiently allow our plows access to clearing roadways.
